The 3 Things Every Popular Blogger Needs

  by: TJ Philpott

In order to become a popular blogger you will need plenty of creative writing ideas along with a truckload of motivation. The results you will be looking for will not come overnight and that I will guarantee! What you will need are two things to realize your dream of managing a successful blog, lots of unique content and strong reader loyalty. In each case time will be required to develop both so make no mistake, this is a process and not a short term event!

Here are 3 qualities as the site administrator you will need to supply if your goal is to manage a successful blog!

Patience

A successful blog is a product of time and effort and for the site administrator, that being you, this will require patience. As stated previously results will NOT come overnight or even quickly for that matter therefore it is important to realize this up front! If you are constantly trying to develop new and creative writing ideas for your site while preoccupied with when you will see results this will only serve to make things more difficult! Building a blogging platform is a 'long haul' effort therefore accept the challenge, or not!

Credibility

Much of the traffic any successful blog gets is normally referrals and this will be based upon the unique content posted and its credibility. In fact the quality of what the site contains will have a direct impact on how viral the platform will become. If it is worth talking about people will talk, and if they do others will come to see what the buzz is about! It is up to you to post useful and accurate information and your readers will do the rest!

Consistency

Maintaining a steady flow of creative writing ideas is vital to being able to consistently update the platform. The frequency of your posting schedule is up to you insofar as how much time you have available or your motivational level. It is however important to establish some sort of consistency so people can schedule their own visits accordingly. Just remember the more frequently you post the more people will visit and the faster their loyalty will grow and their referrals will spread!

To become a popular blogger online it is important to have a healthy supply of creative writing ideas along with plenty of patience and motivation! In order to gain the large and loyal readership you want there are two components you will need! The first component will be unique content to attract these readers and the second being time to develop their loyalty! Ultimately it will come down to you as the site administrator to supply the 3 qualities we discussed above to realize your goal of owning a successful blog. In the end it comes back to your own motivation and whether or not you have the patience for it all to come together! Do you?

Writing Articles Myth-Article Marketing No Longer Works

 by: Jeff Schuman

I have been doing article writing now for about 7 years. In that time I have seen several changes in the article marketing niche. However, one thing that has not changed is the effectiveness of writing and submitting articles.

Although the Internet millions more articles than in 2004 it is still a great way to build an Internet business. This will never change as long as search engines are relying on fresh content to deliver to their searchers.

There are a few things you can do to make your articles more appealing to the search engines and your reader. If you implement a few of the suggestions I list here you will help bust of the myth of whether article writing works or not.

1. Write catchy titles. Your titles must be interesting if you want to get the attention of the reader and the search engines.

You certainly want to include keyword phrases that relate to the theme of your website. This will also be the basis for what your article is about.

A catchy title gives you an advantage over one that is not well written. Scanning article directories and looking for titles that catch your eye is one good idea.

Copy those down and put them in a swipe file. Spend a little bit of time every week re-writing these titles to make them unique.

You will find this is an excellent source of titles for future articles. It will also help you come up with article ideas if you hit a dry spell.

2. Be a problem solver. People still search the Internet looking for answers to problems they have. This gives you an excellent opportunity to write an article that a person would find helpful.

When you submit these kind of articles to article directories they often show up on search engine pages. These articles also become an excellent form of viral marketing as a reader is more apt to refer them to a friend.

3. Write in a conversational tone. I personally like articles that are written as though the author and I are having a conversation. A human element in an article is much more personal and a more enjoyable article to read.

These type of articles give you an excellent opportunity to share your expertise on the topic you are writing about. This is another trick to doing article marketing the correct way.

Over time you begin to brand yourself as an expert on the theme of the niche your articles are in.

Article writing will continue to be a powerful form of marketing for any Internet marketer. It certainly works if you implement these simple suggestions and write and submit a lot of articles online where people can find them online.

Online Writing - How Can You Earn More Money?

by: Sutikno Slamet

This is probably one of the most frequently asked questions when it comes to online writing. Most of the newbies to this career see those jobs offering a dollar for five hundred words, and while they might work for that amount to start with (just to get some experience) they soon want to build up and earn more for their hard work.

And why not? Every writer should earn what they are worth, and the better you get the more money you should be able to bring in.

So how do you earn more from online writing? The trick is to raise the bar. If you have been writing for a dollar for 500 words, you need to start dismissing those jobs from now on. Think about this for a moment - if you spend time considering whether or not to apply for those low paid gigs, you won't be able to spend as much time looking for higher paid jobs.

You need to get into the habit of only considering higher paid jobs in the online writing world. And you'll find - as I did - that as soon as you raise that bar in your own mind, you'll start finding other jobs that you can apply for.

There is another tactic to remember here too, and it works in conjunction with the first trick I mentioned above. This is all about numbers. You need to apply for as many higher paid writing jobs as you can. The more you apply for the better the chance is of actually winning more of them.

It can be depressing to think about the percentage rate of winning jobs to losing them. Some writers have mentioned winning around ten per cent of everything they apply for. Now if you think that it is depressing losing a full 90% of the jobs you go for, you need to think of it in a different way.

For every ten jobs you go for, you'll win around one. So if you want to get two writing jobs you'll have to go for twenty in total. Get the idea? Think in terms of what you need to do to win the number of online writing jobs you actually want to get.

As you can see, your own frame of mind can have a big effect on how much writing work you get. And the more you get the more money you will earn. And of course, you now know that if you raise that bar a bit higher you will be bringing in more money before you know it.

by Hal Lacious

Ever had one of those funny questions about life? Then please read on. When it comes to funny questions and thoughts about life, every time I think I've seen them all I find one I've never seen before or come up with more of my own. The following are some of the ones I've discovered or written however, I know there's more because thats, well... life. So, if you find while reading these funny questions and thoughts about life make you smile, pass them along. All right, let's get started!

Funny Questions about life - Group 1 Why does Hawaiian pizza also contain Canadian Bacon? Grape Nuts cereal. No grapes - no nuts. Huh? What's the difference between regular ketchup and fancy ketchup? Do Dutch people always split the bill? If you use Miracle Whip on Wonder Bread, do you have to use Heavenly Ham?

Funny Questions about life - Group 2 Is there ever a day that mattresses aren't on sale? They make bullet proof vests, why not bullet proof pants? Why are oriental rug stores always going out of business? Is there any difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?

Funny Questions about life - Group 3 If it only takes one match to start a forrest fire, why on earth does it take me a whole box of matches and a can of lighter fluid to light my grill? When they ship those styrofoam peanuts, what do they pack them in? How do you know when pickles or sour cream has gone bad?

Funny Questions about life - Group 4 How does one know when their bagpipes need tuning? Allstate Insurance has a disclaimer that reads: not available in all states. What? If Donkey Kong's main character is a monkey, why isn't it called Monkey Kong? Why does the word lisp have an "s" in it?

Funny Questions about life - Group 5 How come you never read the headline, "Psychic Wins Lottery"? The next time someone says, "Now I've seen everything", ask them if they've ever seen a UPS truck parked in a parking space. Has anyone ever really seen a Jolly Rancher? If you get a club soda stain, how do you remove it?

Funny Questions about life - Group 6 Has anyone (besides Donald Trump's wife) ever been fooled by a comb over? Is it really possible to change the direction of a bowling ball by waving your hands? There's senior citizens, so why aren't there junior citizens?

Funny Questions about life - Group 7 They say laughter is the best medicine - so who came up with the phrase, "I died laughing"? Why do doctors leave the room when your getting dressed? After all, they've already seen you naked. What's wrong with the United States? They only have two choices for President, but fifty for Miss America. Any reason they nail down the lid of a coffin? When butterflies get upset or nervous, what do they get in their stomachs?

Funny Questions about life - Group 8 Where do they put price stickers on non-stick pans? If it's called lipstick, why is it always coming off? When they sing, "Take me out to the ball game" they're already there. Why? Who's idea was it to make the word abbreviation so long?

Yes, these are just a few of the Funny Questions about life that try men's -and women's souls. And there's a ton more funny questions about life not listed here. Some of them come to me during the course of a day. For example, why does every shampoo bottle say, lather, rinse, repeat? I'm sorry, did I miss my head entirely the first time or do you just want to sell more shampoo? If you have or have thought up any funny questions of life yourself, feel free to send them along and thanks for wasting a few minutes of your life pondering these funny questions of life. Now get out there and do something good. Like figuring out what people in China call their good plates...

So You Wanna Be A Proofreader: Ten Tip

by: Tom Aaron

The title in this article should grab your attention for one of two reasons: you are interested in being a proofreader or you notice the language is inappropriate. "Wanna" is not standard English. Looking at this title, you probably came to one of two conclusions: the writer deliberately used a mistake to grab your attention, or the writer did not proofread very well. At Aaron Language Services, we see error after error from people who apply for proofreading work. We do not expect perfection, but we do have ten tips to help proofreaders get closer to producing good work.

1. Careful checking

Your email message may not be your proofreading work. If you are looking for proofreading work though, any typos or other errors will cast doubt on the quality of your work. If the email message is accompanying proofreading work, the errors will cast doubt on the attached work.

2. Three times

Good proofreading borders on the obsessive. Catching those last errors requires attention to detail. Proofread everything at least three times. I needed three reads to finally notice that I had written "tree times" above instead of "three times".

3. Time intervals

If you keep reading the same writing over and over, catching mistakes becomes more difficult. We suggest that you spread out your three proofreadings over time. For simple text, this proofreading does not have to be on different days. For a longer and more complicated document though, each reading should be on a separate day.

4. Fresh and alert

We work best when we are fresh and alert. Proofreading is complicated because we read for meaning, not for errors. Be sure that you are fresh and alert when you do your final proofreading.

5. Your spellchecker

As basic as this tip is, many people seem to forget. Use your spellchecker.

6. Search engines

Spellcheckers are not perfect. When writing this, the spellchecker said "proofreadings" was misspelled. I was positive it was not, but I still checked. Even when I am positive, I am still wrong sometimes.

7. When in doubt

With the Internet just a few keystrokes away, the answers to most of our questions are just as close. If you do not know something, research it. Check dictionaries and other references. Check search engines to see what standard usage is.

8. Read

Reference materials help us to become better writers and to catch mistakes. Take advantage of them.

9. Reading

Anyone wanting to be a better writer, editor, or proofreader needs to read. Reading gives us the unconscious language knowledge that we need. As you read more books on writing, editing and proofreading and as you write, edit and proofread, you will also start to look more consciously as you read in general. You will notice Hemingway's short active sentences and Faulkner's punctuation of his long descriptive sentences. The more you read, the more you will notice. The more you notice, the better you will write, edit and proofread.

10. Taking a break

We do not work in an ideal world; sometimes we must work when we are tired. Take breaks; refresh yourself. Do a page; walk around the room; do another page. A tired proofreader is a poor proofreader.

Being a good writer, editor, or proofreader takes time. Improving your writing, editing, and proofreading takes time too. If you follow these ten tips, you will learn and get better. Writing, editing, and proofreading are not mysterious skills that come to us naturally. If we work on them, we will get better. We wish you the best in developing your proofreading and editing skills.

How To Write Articles That Generate Clicks

by: Eric Ouellette

The main reason why people gets into article marketing, is to get more traffic to their website, squeeze page or affiliate offer. It's no secret that the best way to achieve great results is by having optimized articles.

When I say optimized, I don't mean just keyword optimized, I mean, well written and well formatted articles. In the next paragraph, I will show you what to do to best optimized your articles.

I will break this section into each part of the anatomy of an article so that, it's easier for you to grab all the information.

The title:
1- Must Grab the interest or pick the curiosity of the reader.
2- Must contain your keyword in the beginning.
3- Must be very specific about your topic in the second part.

The introductory paragraph:
1- Write 1-3 sentences introducing your topic.
2- Write 1-2 sentences explaining what the article will cover.
3- Write a sentence that leads to the body of the article.

The body of the article:
1- You must pick 3-4 key points related to your title or topic.
2- Either write paragraph for each key point or list each idea in a numbered or bulleted list.
3- To make your article keyword rich, begin each point with your keyword.

Concluding paragraph:
One of the best way to get the reader wanting for more, is to exclude to concluding paragraph. where the reader is expecting the conclusion, instead, he/she gets your bio box that you can start with something like this:

If you found this article useful, check out my new report. You can get it for free here: put your link here.

Author Bio Box:

Immediately after the body of the article, while the reader is still fresh from reading your article, give him/her a good reason to go to your website or squeeze page.

Writing and formatting:

It's usually easier to write the introduction, if you write the body of the article first, because you can be more specific when explaining what will be covered in the article.

Formatting is also very important, because it can highly improve the readability of the article. What you can do is break paragraphs after 4 lines of text. it makes it a lot easier to read.

Various Types of Ghosts

by: Sean M.Clarke

You have read volumes about ghosts and have browsed hundreds of websites to devour more information on ghosts, but have you ever wondered how many types of ghosts there are? The fact is that there are various types of ghosts out there and all these are minutely described and documented by the Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF).

The Spiritual Science Research Foundation has undertaken extensive research on ghosts in order to demystify this widespread phenomenon and help people in recognising and treating the adverse effects caused by ghosts through proven methodology according to the science of Spirituality.

At the outset, it is important to note that while we use the phrase ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) as a collective noun to cover the entire gamut of negative energies, there is a vast difference between the lower order ghosts and higher order ghosts such as subtle sorcerers (maantriks) from the sixth and seventh region of Hell. They differ according to their spiritual strength. Ghosts primarily use their spiritual strength to harm humanity.

The generic types of ghosts as identified by the Spiritual Science Research Foundation in ascending order of hierarchy as well as power and strength are:

• Common ghost
• Demons
• Black serpent
• Female goblin
• Jaakhin
• Witch
• Spirit
• Subtle sorcerer

The Hierarchy among Ghosts

There is a hierarchy among ghosts which is based on their spiritual power or strength. Ultimately all ghosts are controlled by subtle sorcerers (maantriks).

Basic shape and form of types of ghosts

The spiritual principle that word, touch, form, taste, smell and its associated energy coexist is also true with ghosts. Depending on their type of energy, they take up generic forms. These forms can however change, depending on what the ghost is trying to achieve. For example, if the ghost is trying to intimidate, it will take up an intimidating form, whereas if it is trying to fool a spiritual healer it may take a form of an angel or a positive energy. They can also take the form of our departed ancestors thus misleading psychics and the people who come to psychics to enquire about departed relatives. This is true in almost all cases.

How does one become a Ghost in the first place?

When a person dies only his physical body ceases to exist. His subtle body however continues to exist and moves on to the other regions of the Universe. Some of these subtle bodies become ghosts. Most ghosts have unfulfilled desires such as cravings for sex, alcohol, revenge, etc. or derive pleasure out of exerting control over and tormenting humans and other subtle bodies. The subtle body of a person after physical death is defined as a ghost if their characteristics and intentions match the above. There is no special process as such which they go through to become a ghost.

How does a Ghost become a particular type of Ghost?

The main reason behind a person becoming a certain type of ghost is due to their predominant personality trait and their predominant thought at the time of death. For example people involved in adversely affecting humanity at large are more likely to become subtle sorcerers (maantriks). On the other hand excessive worldly desires and constantly thinking ill about others may culminate in one becoming a Common Ghost (Bhoot) after death.

Summary

The most reliable way of reducing the risk of being affected or possessed by the various types of ghosts, is undertaking spiritual practice as per the 6 basic principles of spirituality. Spiritual practice and spiritual healing remedies, coupled with personality defect removal and eradication of ego are the tools to access supreme protection from God that insulates one from the attack of ghosts as well as helps us proceed to higher regions in the afterlife.
